Dr. Sri Balaji Loganathan is the founder and Chairman of Smt. Lakshmi Ammal Educational Trust, based in Arcot, Tamilnadu. He is an Educationist, Social Worker, Sports Person and an avid Art lover. He strongly induces inclusive education in rural India through his educational institutions, by associating with various Government and Non- Governmental agencies in the field of social service, sports and arts. His relentless service as an Educationist for the past 20 years has made him a role model among his peers, especially for empowering rural youth especially women through education.

He was born in Arcot, Tamil Nadu in a trader’s family on 30thMay 1969. After his graduation in Commerce in the year 1990 he equipped himself to be an educationist by completing his post graduation in 2006 and Masters in Philosophy in the year 2010. After various employment assignments, he started an educational trust to fulfill his dreams for empowering ruraly out like him through education in a humble way with 75 students in the year 1997.During that period he initiated inclusive education which his uncommon in the rural community, which was widely appreciated and paved way to his educational institutions growing multi-fold spreading across schools, teacher training institute, nursing college and arts and Science College in a span of 16 years. For better administration, today through Smt. Lakshmi Ammal Educational trust he educates over thousands of students in school and nursing college, of which over 50% of rural you this directly benefited through free education, and other community enrichment initiatives carried out by his educational institutions. Apart from this he also imparts higher education to the less privileged rural women students and encourages innovations through Science Club initiatives whereby Scientist like Dr.Mayilsamy were invited to interact and encourage with young scientists for their innovations.
